Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese practice in which you use a tool to apply pressure and scrape the skin to relieve pain and tension. Gua sha has been proven to help relieve tension in the face, reduce puffiness and inflammation. Gua sha is best done after both cleansing the face and applying a moisturizer or facial oil as it helps products nutrients absorb better into skin.

WARNING: Musculature of the face is much thinner, you'll want to avoid applying too much pressure as you're working on this area. This action causes light bruising, which often appears as purple or red spots known as petechiae or sha. We recommend using this at night before you got bed.
